Damage to roads, bridges and the airport, is still hampering response efforts in Indonesia, with limited supplies getting through. However, we're working as quickly as we can, delivering hygiene, clean water and shelter materials in Palu and other affected areas. Here are three examples of the vital aid we’re providing to those most in need.

On 25th April 2015 a massive earthquake struck Nepal. Oxfam responded by providing immediate humanitarian aid to thousands of people. We have also worked to support people improve their long term well being and that of their community.

Tens of thousands of people have seen their homes flattened or damaged to such an extent that it is not safe for them to return.

On 12 January 2010, a massive earthquake hit Haiti’s capital Port-au-Prince, killing 220,000 people, injuring 300,000 and severely damaging great swaths of the city.
