In response to the EU’s progress report on its Migration Partnership Framework, Oxfam says the bloc has failed to offer manageable and sustainable alternatives for people forced to use smugglers or improve opportunities in countries of origin.
The European Commission has today presented a good proposal for a new framework for the EU’s development policy. The EU institutions and member states must now make sure they translate these fine words into concrete action, says Oxfam.
