Date TBC – Global Aid Figures – Media Reaction: The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) will unveil its 2024 statistics on development aid. Last year, Oxfam said that the current level of aid is a "moral failure." Oxfam will publish a media reaction and Oxfam’s aid expert, Salvatore Nocerino, is available for comment.
Date TBC – Global Report on Food Crises – Media Reaction: The World Food Programme will publish its annual report on food crises. Oxfam will publish a media reaction and Oxfam EU food security expert, Hanna Saarinen, is available for comment.
Date TBC – French Legal Action on Climate – Press conference & Press Release: Oxfam will launch a joint legal action with Greenpeace, Notre Affaire à Tous and climate activists against the French State for its failure to protect citizens from the impact of the climate crisis. 5 May (TBC) – Parliament votes on EU Budget (MFF) – Comment: The European Parliament will vote on its own initiative report on the EU’s 7-year budget (MFF). Oxfam experts are available for comment.
